Next to his BA, Ischa also finished the Pre-master Theater, Dance and Dramaturgy at the Universiteit Utrecht. In his work as programmer, coach and teacher Ischa draws from his Dutch-Antillean roots and queerness, using movement and theater as a tool for cultural and personal inquiry. Ischa also worked as director-assistant with Nicole Beutler and was programming assistant at Korzo, where he collaborated on o.a. the programming for season 22/23 and was responsible for Meet the Next. He is currently programmer of Festival Alle Tijd/ Grond and Teaches at e.g. ArtEZ University of the Arts and RijnIJssel.
